This is the New Mexico Capitol. There was no place to get a good picture. The capitol is a round building which has projections at N, E, S, W. From an aerial view it looks like a zia which is an indian symbol. The art work on display was beautiful and very southwestern. If you get to Santa Fe you should go in and see the art work. We found it interesting that we did not have to go through any detectors of any kind. In Baton Rouge and at the post office in San Antonio we had to go through detectors. The capitol does not have a dome. There are four states which do not have a dome. I know that NM, Alaska, Hawaii do not have a dome but don't know the fourth. If any one does please let me know.
