This is the Emily Morgan Hotel in downtown San Antonio which is across from the Alamo. We had a marvelous time. There was so much to see and do there. We walked and walked and walked. The Riverwalk was so much fun. We ate dinner there once and took the riverboat tour. We went to the Witte Museum and The McNay. We went up in the Tower and looked out over San Antonio. There is a lot of sprawl there and over 1 million people. The photo below is on the grounds of the Alamo with our hotel in the background. The grounds are beautiful. The Alamo is maintained by the Daughters of Texas through donations by visitors, their gift shop and companies. The next two photos show the Alamo by day and night. I would recommend San Antonio as a must see. We did not even get to see everything.
